Registration Procedures

  • 1. Complete the Bay Area Charter School ON-LINE Registration Form.
  • 2. Secure the Counselor’s Signature on page 4 of the Registration Form.
  • 3. FAX the completed Registration Form to 281 316-0018. You will be contacted and an appointment set for Orientation. At that time you and your student will receive specific instructions on the procedures to follow to access the scheduled course from your computer.
      a. The success of your student in completing this course will require supervision from you or your designated proxy.
      b. Emails will communicate to you the amount of work being completed and indicate what needs to be completed to finish the course by August 1.
      c. An instructor is available to discuss any problems that you encounter or questions about the coursework.
  • 4. The completion date is set by your student’s Counselor. There will be a final date that work will be accepted. Once set, that timeline will not be renegotiated.
  • 5. If your student is completing this course for Credit Acceleration, the amount of time required is determined by how quickly your student completes and learns the material. There is no minimum time limit. It does not need to take six weeks to complete the course work.
  • 6. If your student is completing the work for promotion requirements, your student’s Counselor will determine the date that the course must be completed.
  • 7. All Unit Tests will be taken under the supervision of our Instructor. As soon as the Unit is completed, you will email the Instructor so that a time can be arranged to take the test.
