Bay
Area Charter Schools are student-centered open enrollment public schools emphasizing
hands-on, project-based learning. We enroll students from Alvin ISD, Channelview ISD, Clear Creek ISD, Crosby ISD, Deer Park
ISD, Dickinson ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galena Park ISD, Galveston ISD, Goose Creek ISD, Hitchcock ISD, Houston ISD, LaMarque ISD,
La Porte ISD, Pasadena ISD, Pearland ISD, Santa Fe ISD, and Texas City ISD. Our schools are Texas
Education Agency certified and must meet all TEA requirements. Our mission is to foster the excitement of learning through an interactive educational environment that values the gifts and talents of every child while encouraging cooperation among students, parents, and the school community. We recognize that students learn differently. Our teachers emphasize a project-based, cooperative approach that enables students to apply their learning to the real world. We offer small classes with low student/teacher ratios and encourage parent involvement. Bay Area Charter Schools are public schools funded by state tax dollars. No tuition is required to attend K-12th grade. Pre-Kindergarten students meeting State eligibility requirements are served in our early childhood program. In pre-kindergarten, non-eligible students may enroll on a tuition basis. |
